Bloch Foundation

After relocating their office, Bloch Foundation wanted to add fresh furniture pieces to go along with their new space. Filled with a wide array of art pieces, the space replicates the feeling of stepping into a museum. Taking inspiration from Marion Bloch’s favorite art piece, The White Cupboard by Pierre Bonnard, they chose to go with a bright orange/red color for their conference and guest seating, knowing she would have loved the look.

The client did not want to depend on a typical ‘systems panel’ based approach for their workstations, but still wanted privacy for their employees. encompas offered programming and design development services, in partnership with the designer on the project, giving Bloch Foundation a say in the components of their workstations to better meet their needs. To help the customer visualize what we were envisioning, we provided renderings that compared multiple finish schemes on the product.
