This team will be with you from the initial budget meetings all the way through the final installation walk-through, designing your space, submitting furniture orders, tracking shipments, scheduling installation, and keeping you up to date with status reports. We create detailed plan layouts, specifications sheets, and rendered 3D images to communicate all your options and ensure the details of the design are correctly represented so the end product meets your expectations.

Contract Negotiation

Order Placement + Acknowledgement

The average workstation is made up of hundreds of parts and pieces, and each have to be added to an order individually to create the tailored piece of furniture you desire. Our project manager thoroughly examine all these order details through our "triple-check" system to help minimize errors and ensure the product delivered to your site is the product you want. At this time, your project manager will be in charge of:

Installation


Furniture, Movable Wall Installation, and more

We have developed close partnerships with local union and non-union companies that we contract with based upon the specific need of the customer and project. Additionally, we offer in-house installation services on projects of smaller scope. If delays occur, product can be stored in our warehouse until the site is ready. Whatever the case may be, our dedicated team will ensure your product is safe.

Wire Management

From phone chargers and laptops to multiple monitors and height-adjustable tables, it can be tricky to organize all the wires that power our tools in an aesthetically pleasing way. Allow our trained staff to clean up and organize your cables in a way that is worry free and makes sense for your furniture setup.

Furniture Removal / Decommissioning

Sometimes your organization will come across furniture that you no longer want or need. As your furniture experts, allow us to take these assets off your hands and arrange for their reuse by other organizations. If the product is too old or worn to be re-purposed, we can ensure it is either upcycled into new, usable product, or properly disposed of. All this helps keep office equipment from unnecessarily going into a landfill.

Move-In


Final Walkthrough

In the event that something goes awry during an installation, we will ensure any damaged items get replaced, any missing components are received as soon as possible, and that your move-in process goes as smoothly as possible. During our final walkthrough with you, we’ll address furniture care/maintenance, electrical loads, warranty replacements, and more to make sure you have the knowledge of how to care for your investment going forward.

Product Safety and Education

Moving your employees into your new space can be hectic and usually involves a ton of questions. Our team can be on site during your move in to answer all your needs and help your employees transition. We want to make sure you are getting the most out of your investment, and that your employees are comfortable, safe, and using the furniture to its fullest capability. Whether it’s an on-site session, a virtual tutorial, or extra online resources for your marketing team, encompas offers free end user training to help your employees:

  • Adjust computer monitor arms

  • Learn how to thread cords through monitor arms, and other cord management techniques

  • Electrical best practices

  • Adjust and/or program a height-adjustable table

  • Personally adjust task chair to fit height and support posture for long-term comfort

  • Install and uninstall movable wall panels

 

Post-Occupancy Support Services


Storage / Inventory Management

In the event that you decide to keep your previous furniture for future purposes, or need to house your new furniture because of construction delays, we will make sure your assets are housed, secure, and accounted for. Our in-house installation team, encompas Installation Company (eIC), operates a receiving and storage warehouse in North Kansas City with over 13,000 square feet of secured space to meet both short and long-term needs.

Ongoing Maintenance / Warranties

We know you expect your furniture to last a lifetime and we expect the same. Our dedicated client service specialists and trained technicians are your advocates, working with the product manufacturers to repair or replace any products that need attention - from broken chairs and nicked wood to locked file cabinets and damaged or soiled upholstery. We can even offer short or long term maintenance agreements designed to keep your furniture looking as fresh as the day it was installed.

Future Space Changes

Work spaces are meant to be lived in, and will inevitably need a visual refresh to keep up with design trends, or a reconfiguration to fit the evolving needs of your organization. Other reasons for change may be: going paperless, company rebranding, increasing storage space, or adding/subtracting/moving staff members.
