RSM | Kansas City Office
After moving into their new building in 2020, RSM wanted to bring in new furniture and update the look of their common spaces to fit their needs as a company, while also creating an impressive environment for employees and clients.
During ‘busy season,’ RSM caters lunch multiple days a week to foster their family-like culture, allowing their employees to step away from their work and create genuine relationships with each other, no matter how busy they are. In addition to this, they have Friday happy hours in the office to celebrate the week’s hard work. During these times, they use the café to eat, drink, and play games with each other, like Jenga, Connect4, and Pool on their custom table. Having a space that could accommodate their large number of employees was vital to ensure these traditions and relationships continued to develop in their new space.
These common spaces are also very important to RSM as the company prioritizes their partnerships with their clients. If a client does not have ample room, or if they simply want a change of scenery, RSM uses their common spaces to host client meetings and presentations. The furniture and design of the environment allows them to continue to grow these relationships with their clients in a way that’s welcoming, comfortable, and conducive to collaborative work.
