University of Kansas | Capitol Federal Hall

The University of Kansas School of Business was founded in 1924 in Lawrence, Kansas. With more than 100 faculty and staff and 1500 students, the college and its academic programs have received numerous honors and awards, including recognition as one of the top 50 public MBA programs in America by U.S. News + World Report.

Intended to be a building not only for business students, but for all students, Capitol Federal Hall sits at the heart of campus. When designing the building, the team incorporated highly flexible and open spaces to encourage unexpected encounters between students and faculty. They created sight lines between classrooms and faculty work areas, which typically are separated from one another to drive that connectivity.

“The Haworth furniture selected by encompas looks great and will be durable. We have also enjoyed working with Taylor Stucky and her installation staff. Taylor and the crew have been very friendly, knowledgeable, and especially helpful with changes we requested.”
